    It's a great question to start with! To ensure we're on the same page, we want you to know that we're genuinely excited about the prospect of capturing your special day. Rest assured, if we're chatting, it means your wedding date is available on our calendar.
  • 2. Will you be the one shooting my wedding? If not, can I meet the photographer who will be on-site?
    Absolutely, it will be us capturing your moments! No substitutes, no stand-ins. Your day is our focus, and we'll be there personally to make sure everything is just perfect.
  • 3. How many other weddings will you photograph that weekend?
    For us, your wedding is the star of the show every weekend. We dedicate ourselves to one wedding per weekend, ensuring our full attention is on making your day unforgettable.
  • 4. Will you have any assistants with you on our wedding day?
    Our team is flexible, and the number of photographers can vary based on your selected package. We offer options for one or two photographers to suit your unique needs.
  • 5. How long have you been shooting weddings? How many weddings have you photographed?
    We kicked off CADS Photography in 2016 and have been on this incredible journey since. To date, we've captured the magic of more than 100 weddings and elopements.
  • 6. Do you often shoot weddings that have a similar size and style to the one we are planning?
    Our journey has taken us to weddings of all sizes, from intimate gatherings to grand celebrations with over 300 guests. We're excited to bring our diverse experience to your wedding.

  • 8. Have you ever shot a wedding at our ceremony and reception venues? If not, do you plan to check the venues out in advance?
    While we've been fortunate to work in various venues, if your location is new to us, we'll conduct a thorough scouting visit before your wedding day. It's all about ensuring we're well-prepared to capture your special moments.
  • 9. How would you describe your photography style?
    Our photography style is all about vibrant colors, rich contrasts, and creative storytelling. We love to play with shadows, silhouettes, and color gels to create unique and visually striking images. It's not just about capturing moments; it's about capturing them in a brilliantly colorful way.

    We are storytellers who excel at blending into the background to capture candid moments. However, we also love to create artistic, unique photographs. We'll choreograph some shots when the moment calls for it, striking the perfect balance to give you a variety of memories.
  • 11. Do you shoot digitally? With film? Or both?
    Our journey began with film, and we still appreciate its unique charm. We offer film photography for those who want a touch of classic elegance in their collection. Alongside that, we use the latest digital technology to ensure flawless results.
  • 12. Do you offer retouching, color adjustment, or other corrective services?
    We meticulously edit all your photos, including crop, color adjustments, and light enhancements. We also provide retouching on selected images, ensuring your collection is picture-perfect.
  • 13. What is included in your standard package?
    Our standard wedding collection starts at $1499 and includes six hours of coverage. We believe that photographs should be cherished and offer a ready-to-hang wall art piece (8x10") and 60 prints (6x4") to grace your home. You'll also receive an online gallery with all the best photographs.
  • 14. Can I customize a package to fit my needs?
    While our collections are carefully designed to meet your needs, we're all ears when it comes to customization. Your wedding is unique, and we're more than happy to discuss tailoring a package to your preferences.
  • 15. Do you include engagement photos in your packages?
    While our standard package doesn't include an engagement session, you'll enjoy a 30% discount if you decide to add it. We're here to make your wedding experience truly yours.
  • 16. How many hours are included in each package?
    Our standard collection offers six hours of coverage, while our premium collection provides flexibility with up to 12 hours. If you need extra hours, they're available for $215 CAD each.
  • 17. Do you charge a travel fee? For what distance?
    Good news! If your wedding is within Edmonton, St. Albert, Stony Plain, Sherwood Park, or within a 30-minute drive from Edmonton Downtown, there are no extra travel fees. Your day is our priority, no matter where it takes us.
  • 18. What is the payment schedule for your services?
    To make planning easier, we offer a flexible payment schedule. Typically, a 30% deposit secures your date, with the balance due closer to your wedding day. We're here to accommodate your needs and make the process as smooth as possible.
  • 19. Can we order prints or albums directly from you?
    Absolutely! All our collections include prints, but if you want to add more, your private online gallery is like a treasure trove of options. From various print sizes to canvas and metal prints, we've got you covered with choices galore!
  • 20. What type of album do you offer? Do you provide assistance selecting images and designing the album?
    Our albums are like magic books, with a hardcover and room for 100 to 120 of your favorite photos. You pick the stars, and we'll create the story. Before it goes to our printing lab, we'll even show you a sneak peek.
  • 21. How long after the wedding will we receive the images? How will they be delivered?
    Good things come to those who wait! Your digital photos will be ready within three weeks. Once you've chosen your favorite snapshots for printing, it'll take just one more week. We'll deliver them straight to your door.
  • 22. Will we have the rights to the images?
    Think of the photos as your treasures. While we hold the artist's copyright, we'll grant you the rights to post, print, and share the images. So, feel free to show off your magical moments far and wide, as long as it's not for commercial purposes.
  • 23. Will we receive the negatives and/or high-resolution digital images? Is there a fee for that?
    No hidden fees here! You'll have a private online gallery with all your photos. We'll also share a link for you to download the high-resolution images. Your memories, your way.
  • 24. Will the images be accessible online? For how long?
    Your photos will have a cozy online home for two months. But, of course, you can download them and keep them safe on your own computer or external hard drive for eternity.
  • 24. When will we receive the contract?
    The contract is like love—it's there from the very beginning. You'll have it at the moment of booking or when you secure your date with a non-refundable deposit.
  • 25. How much of a deposit do you require? When is it due?
    We're committed to making your day unforgettable. To lock in your date, we ask for a 30% non-refundable deposit.
  • 26. Do you accept payments in installments?
    We understand that wedding planning involves a flurry of expenses. That's why we don't force you into a strict payment schedule. You can pay at your pace. However, the total collection cost should be settled one week before the wedding.
  • 27. What is your refund or cancellation policy?
    We're here to make your wedding dreams come true, and we understand that life can be unpredictable. While the deposit is non-refundable, it's not lost—it can be used as credit for another session. Additional payments (installments) can be fully refunded if you cancel six months before the wedding, 50% if it's three months prior, and no refund within two months of the big day.
  • 28. Do you carry backup equipment?
    We're like Boy Scouts—always prepared. We've got backup cameras, lenses, batteries, memory cards, flashes, and more. No photo opportunity will escape our grasp!
  • 29. What is the backup plan if you are unable to shoot my wedding for an unexpected reason?
    We're only human and can't predict the unforeseen. If we find ourselves in an alien abduction or some other extraordinary situation, we'll find an equally talented replacement to capture your day. But don't worry; we'll handle all the editing and retouching in our unique style.
  • 30. How will you and your assistants be dressed?
    We're fashion chameleons. We'll arrive dressed subtly, ensuring we blend in with your guests. If your celebration has a particular dress code or theme, we're open to dressing accordingly. Just ask, and we'll see what we can do.
  • 31. Can we request a list of specific shots we would like?
    We're your photography wingmates, ready to capture the best moments. While we love to trust our artistic eye, we don't mind taking some direction. If there are specific shots you hold dear, we're all ears. You can even provide a curated list to ensure nothing is missed.
